We’ve covered A LOT of content so far, so let’s take a moment and reflect on things now we’ve hit this milestone.
Over the ~50 lessons, you’ve learned a lot. Not just how to publish a component, but everything around it. Things like:
- The different ways of creating frontend components
- How to build vanilla web components, both the hard way and the easier way.
- The complex details of web components, both the good and the awkward (*cough shadow DOM cough).
- Some modern and advanced styling techniques
- All the intricate details involved with publishing a frontend component library.
That’s a lot! When planning the course, I wrestled with the idea of whether I should cover all these bases. I could have given you the markup for a component and asked you to run npm publish.
